Employer T&C
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) are an electronic record under the Indian Information Technology Act, 2000 and its applicable rules, as amended from time to time.
These Terms govern the relationship between You (“Employer,” “Recruiter,” “Job Poster,” or “You”) and LA-PRO (“Website”), owned and operated by Lanverde LLP (“LLP,” “Us,” “We,” or “Our”), a limited liability partnership firm registered under the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008 bearing LLPIN ACE-1680.
By posting a job on the LA-PRO Job Board, You agree to be bound by these Terms. The LA-PRO Job Board is a free, value-added service provided solely to LA-PRO subscribers, and there is no commercial transaction between LA-PRO and Employers for the use of this service. If You do not agree, You must not post or use the LA-PRO Job Board.
2. ELIGIBILITY
By accepting these Terms or posting jobs, You represent and warrant that You:
- Are at least eighteen (18) years of age;
- Have full legal authority to act on behalf of the organization for which You are posting jobs;
- Will provide only accurate and verifiable employer information;
- Have not been previously suspended or removed by Us.
We reserve the right to revoke, suspend, or terminate Your access at any time for violation of these Terms.
3. ACCOUNT CREATION
To post jobs, You will be required to create an employer account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and current registration details;
- Maintain the confidentiality of Your login credentials;
- Accept responsibility for all activity conducted under Your account.
4. ABOUT THE JOB BOARD
The LA-PRO Job Board provides Employers with the ability to post employment opportunities to reach potential candidates. It is only a value-added free service provided to LA-PRO subscribers and does not purport to be a job site or employment service. LA-PRO is not a placement agency, recruiter, or guarantor of employment outcomes. All hiring decisions and employment relationships are solely the responsibility of the Employer.
5. EMPLOYER OBLIGATIONS
By posting jobs, You agree to:
- Provide truthful, accurate, and complete job details including title, description, qualifications, location, and type of employment;
- Clearly disclose whether roles are paid (and avoid disguising unpaid roles as paid employment);
- Not post jobs that require candidates to pay deposits, purchase goods/services, or make financial commitments;
- Not post content that is false, misleading, discriminatory, offensive, illegal, unsafe, or exploitative;
- Ensure all job postings comply with the laws of India, including but not limited to labour, employment, anti-discrimination, and data protection laws;
- Use candidate data obtained via LA-PRO only for legitimate recruitment purposes.
6. LA-PRO RIGHTS
- We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to review, approve, decline, or onboard Employers, Recruiters, or Job Posters seeking to access or use the LA-PRO Job Board.
- Approval for account creation or onboarding does not constitute an endorsement of the Employer, Recruiter, or any job posting, and LA-PRO shall have no obligation to provide reasons for approving or declining such registration.
- We reserve the right to verify, edit, moderate, reject, or remove any posting at our discretion without prior notice.
- We may syndicate or share postings with third-party networks to increase reach unless You opt out.
- We retain full control over the uptime, availability, maintenance, and functionality of the Job Board. Bugs, errors, downtime, or interruptions are part of normal operations and do not create liability.
- Access to the Job Board is provided “as is” without guarantees of candidate volume, quality,or hiring outcomes.
7. INDEMNITY
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LA-PRO, Lanverde LLP, its partners, officers, and employees against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from or related to:
- Your job postings,
- Any hiring or employment relationship resulting from candidates sourced via the LA-PRO Job Board, or
- Misuse of candidate data or violation of applicable laws.
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
- The LA-PRO Job Board is a free, value-added service provided to Employers. There is no financial or commercial transaction between LA-PRO and Employers for its use.
- We are not responsible for:
- The accuracy or legality of job postings submitted by Employers;
- The quality, suitability, or conduct of any candidate;
- Any employment disputes, damages, or losses resulting from hiring decisions;
- Any disruption, downtime, bugs, or non-availability of the Job Board.
- Your use of the Job Board is at Your sole risk.
9. TERMINATION, AND ACCOUNT DELETION
9.1. Account Deletion by You
You may choose to delete your Employer account at any time through the account settings made available on the LA-PRO platform. Upon confirmation of account deletion, your account will be deactivated immediately.
Following account deletion:
- You will lose access to the Employer dashboard, job postings, candidate responses, and all related features of the LA-PRO Job Board.
- Any active or unpublished job postings associated with your account will be removed and will no longer be visible to candidates.
- As the LA-PRO Job Board is a free, value-added service made available to LA-PRO subscribers, no fees are ordinarily charged to Employers for access to or use of the Job Board.
- Accordingly, no refunds, credits, reversals, or prorated amounts shall arise or be payable in connection with the suspension, termination, or deletion of an Employer account.
- If or where any fee is charged, such fees shall be deemed non-refundable, unless expressly stated otherwise in writing at the time of levy of such fee
9.2. Effect on Data
Any personal data or business information associated with your Employer account will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, including limited retention where required for statutory, regulatory, audit, security, or legal purposes.
You acknowledge that you remain responsible for ensuring that any candidate data obtained prior to
account deletion is handled, retained, or deleted by you in compliance with applicable data
protection and employment laws.
9.3. Termination by LA-PRO
We reserve the right to terminate your Employer account, and remove any job postings, at our discretion, including but not limited to cases involving:
- Violation of these Terms;
- Misuse of candidate data;
- Posting of misleading, unlawful, or prohibited content; or
- Conduct that is harmful to LA-PRO, candidates, or platform integrity.
10. EFFECT OF TERMINATION
Termination or deletion of your Employer account shall not affect your obligations and liabilities arising solely from your access to and use of candidate data obtained through the LA-PRO Job Board prior to such termination, including obligations owed directly to candidates under applicable employment, data protection, or other applicable laws.
Upon termination or deletion of your account, you shall immediately cease representing yourself as an authorised employer, recruiter, or job poster on LA-PRO, and shall not use the LA-PRO name, branding, or association in any manner.
11. NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR HIRING DECISIONS OR EMPLOYMENT RELATIONSHIPS
LA-PRO does not participate in, control, or influence any hiring decisions, recruitment processes, or employment relationships between Employers/Recruiters and candidates. Any engagement, communication, offer, hiring decision, or employment relationship entered between you and/or your principals and any candidate is solely between you and the candidate.
LA-PRO shall have no responsibility or liability in respect of any hiring decisions, employment relationships, disputes, claims, losses, or damages arising between you and/or your principals and any candidate, whether occurring before or after suspension, termination, or deletion of your account.
12. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms shall be governed by Indian law. The courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or Your use of the LA-PRO Job Board.
13. MODIFICATIONS
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the LA-PRO Job Board after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
